Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
As a holistic occupational therapist, I take a family-centered approach to care. This means that I’m considering your child as a whole, not just individual parts or symptoms, and in the context of your family unit. I am looking at the context of family dynamics and working alongside you so that you are empowered to implement lasting change at home. We work together to create a home plan for you to implement sensory strategies and activities as well as somatic tools. We work as a team to treat your child - this is where the magic happens.
My Process
In my practice, I utilize a package model of care and with this, offer comprehensive, wraparound care that helps us achieve goals efficiently and effectively. Each base package for occupational therapy is six months long, and consists of either four or eight treatment sessions a month (i.e., dependent on your child's needs and goals, which we determine during our evaluation), as well as parent sessions. We have one parent session in the first month of treatment, as well as one in the last month of our package. There is always an option to add on more support via parent sessions.
